RECOMMENDATION: DO NOT REPLACE A RETIRED USER WITH A NEW USER. “DEACTIVATE” THE OLD USER AND THEN CREATE THE NEW USER, DO NOT WRITE OVER ANY EXISTING USER PROFILE TO CREATE A NEW USER. REASON: SUBSTITUTING A USER NAME WILL UPDATE ALL PREVIOUS ‘NOTES’ AND ‘EVENTS’ MAKING THEM APPEAR AS IF THEY WERE AUTHORED BY THE NEW USER.
